Does your heel hurt when taking the first few steps after waking up? Is walking uncomfortable after sitting for a while? Does the pain ease as you move but return later? Are you searching for a βphysiotherapist near meβ for recurring heel pain?
Why Does It Occur?
Heel pain after rest may be associated with plantar fascia irritation, calf tightness, reduced foot strength or changes in walking and activity levels. Unsuitable footwear and sudden increases in exercise may also contribute.

What You Can Try at Home
Before getting out of bed, gently move your ankles and stretch your calves. Avoid sudden increases in walking or running. Wear comfortable, supportive footwear and avoid prolonged barefoot walking on hard surfaces if it aggravates symptoms.
If heel pain persists or interferes with walking, consult Dr. Deepika Bansal, physiotherapist, serving Balewadi, Wakad, Aundh and Pimple Saudagar. Personalised physiotherapy can help reduce pain and improve foot function.
